    Participant may submit a copy of the sales and purchase agreement without the receipt of home payment if the SPA is validated as Certified True Copy by the relevant authorities.

    Participant is allowed to request partial withdrawal for residential properties only.

    General Notes From The Immigration Department Page

    • The Immigration Department page states that existing MM2H participants may withdraw part of the required fixed deposit from the second year onward, effective from the date the MM2H Social Visit Pass is endorsed in the passport, for approved expenses related to residential purchase, children's education expenses, and medical expenses.
    • The page lists the partial withdrawal amounts as: RM50,000 for participants aged 50 years and above. RM150,000 for participants aged below 50 years.
    • The page also states that participants are required to maintain the fixed deposit balance until they terminate their participation in the programme: RM100,000 for participants aged 50 years and above. RM150,000 for participants aged below 50 years.
    • Fixed deposit withdrawal is on a reimbursement basis.
    • Release of money is based on the amount requested.

    Marriage certificates and birth certificates may also need Certified True Copy certification. According to the Immigration Department page, CTC certification may be done by a Malaysian Embassy or Consulate General abroad, or by a public notary in Malaysia.
